For testing three-phase energy meters where voltage and current circuits cannot be separated (closed links), current isolation is essential to ensure accuracy. In multi-position test benches and complex three-phase setups, voltage isolation alone is insufficient. The 100 A ICT provides true 1:1 current isolation with electronic error compensation, enabling precise, safe, and flexible calibration under equipotential conditions.
Each ICT integrates three independent 1:1 current transformers, supporting:
Three-phase meters with non-separated voltage/current circuits
Single-phase meters under non-separated conditions
Multi-station benches where each meter position receives an independent isolated current
To maintain high accuracy across meter types and burdens, the ICT uses an internal electronic error compensator and provides ample secondary output capacity. At 100 A, the secondary can deliver ≥60 VA while keeping accuracy. Secondary open-circuit/overload conditions are monitored with indication and automatic short-circuit protection.
